[2021] Is it possible to get someone banned for throwing on purpose?

Gonna be a Karen for a moment but.. Just ran into a guy in my placement matches on 3v3 (I mostly play 2v2 and 1v1) and I get Into the match and my tm8 purposely own goals in the first 20 seconds or so and continues to do so for the whole match. I ask them why because I was reasonably salty at this mf and they said bcuz he wanted to rank people down. I feel like this guy should be banned longer than a 3 day ban or so. Bcuz its unfair to whoever he pairs up with. Anyways if anyone knows if it's possible to ban him for it and how long the ban should last send feedback.
