I have gigabit fiber and I have my PC hooked up to ethernet. I typically play on NA East servers and get 20-30 ping.
This morning I was playing getting my normal ping for like 10 matches or so, then one server I sit at 60 ping and it constantly shoots up to 300+ ping making me and the ball teleport all over. Still on an East server. This happens every so often since the start of season 9.
I'm the only one on my internet, and it's fiber ethernet into my PC so no, its not other people on the network causing it. I'll be fine the next game. It just seems to be random servers just don't like my ISP or something. Very frustrating.
This reminds me of back in the day when Psyonix had virtual servers and my friends and I would notice the servers would have worse performance by looking at their name since virtual servers had a different naming scheme.
Long story short, anybody else experiencing anything similar?
