Story:

For context, I believe I may have been the first person scammed for a big item. I reported it to Psyonix (with a screenshot of the trade) at around 10:45AM EST yesterday.

I finally got a response from Psyonix, where they say that they have no records of me EVER having an Alpha Cap.

I have screenshots dating back to May 31st using the cap, when I bought it. I've never used bakkesmod or any other mod, yet somehow - SOMEHOW - Psyonix says I never had one.

I honestly thought my biggest battle was going to be convincing them not to give me an untradeable Cap back, as there is literally NOTHING I could have done to prevent getting scammed out of this. It is their code that got exploited, no fault of my own was committed here other than you know - trading. This same person scammed dozens of people, who I'm sure have also reported him.

No... no, now they're telling me I never even had it.

Since their response, I've e-mailed back multiple screenshots dating back to May 31st, and also included my trade logs for the day I was scammed (someone mentioned this might help, Psyonix has not asked for them).

What an absolute joke.

OP -- Sorry for the trouble here. A customer care agent should be reaching out again via the ticket you started. This was definitely not handled correctly and we're working on fixing that!

Respectfully, I think us correcting this error (and it was indeed an error in how the player's inventory was looked up and confirmed) immediately after it was made proves otherwise. We handle thousands of customer care tickets a day. Occasionally an error will occur, and we're always going to do our best to rectify the situation.
