After a thorough investigation, we have determined that Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) player and former Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) coach *fire* has repeatedly violated the CRL and RLCS Codes of Conduct. As a result, *fire* is immediately banned from all tournaments hosted by Psyonix until January 1, 2022.

Ruling

*fire*'s actions in the past month (predominantly via Discord) have repeatedly violated CRL Rules (https://esports.rocketleague.com/crlrules/) and RLCS rules (https://battlefy.com/leagues/rlcs/seasons/2020/rules). This in conjunction with his previous competitive warning issued on September 27, 2019, has resulted in a competitive ban from all Psyonix-operated tournaments until January 1, 2022.

Applicable Rules:

Section 7.1.3 of the CRL Rules states: "Players shall not behave in a manner (a) which violates these Rules, (b) which is disruptive, unsafe or destructive, or (c) which is otherwise harmful to the enjoyment of the Game by other users as intended by Psyonix (as decided by Psyonix). In particular, Players shall not engage in harassing or disrespectful conduct, use of abusive or offensive language, game sabotage, spamming, social engineering, scamming, or any unlawful activity (“Toxic Behavior”)."

Additionally, sections 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 of the RLCS rules state: "7.1.1 All Players must conduct themselves in a way that is at all times consistent with (a) the Code of Conduct in this Section 7 (“Code of Conduct”) and (b) the general principles of personal integrity, honesty, and good sportsmanship."

7.1.2 Players must be respectful of other Players, Tournament Administrators, spectators, and sponsors (as applicable)."

Closing

We take player conduct extremely seriously. This type of behavior is entirely unacceptable and will not be taken lightly. We reserve the right to impose any additional penalties at our sole discretion.
