External link →So when you FF in a tournament, wait for the match to end and return to the end of match scoreboard before quitting to avoid getting banned.
If you do try to leave right away, a popup does come up to warn you about leaving the tournament and subsequent ban... but you and many others don't read that and just click through to the main menu only to discover the ban.
It's a good thing that they make it difficult to leave a tournament before its over, and that the ban is a good deterrent to not abandon a match.
Next time wait the extra 10 seconds, and you'll be fine.
