[2019] Rocket Pass not levelling up

My mate and I played a few matches today, after purchasing the Rocket Pass. However, none of the last 3 or 4 matches have counted towards the Rocket Pass XP (even though they were full length matches).

Has the levelling system completely changes, only levelling up via challenge completion, or is everything the same and challenges are an extra?

The leveling system is the same as it was in the past with the exception that you can gain additional levels with the Challenges system.

If you DM me your account username or Steam profile URL, I can look into its match history to see what's going on.
