Hey ted! What’s it like being a Psyonix staff? I’m still hoping to play with or against one some day haha
Well, I certainly enjoy it! It's hard work and there is always a lot to do but I love my job and I love being able to work with the players. Funny enough, I started working at Psyonix during the pandemic so I have yet to actually go into the office itself.
Oh that’s cool, how did you become a staff member? As in did you do like a game development course or something like that?
I’ve always wondered what it would be like to work for Psyonix. I’ll always prefer Psyonix over Epic Games ;)

I'm a Community Specialist! So I work with Devin and Dirk on their team!
I got into games by originally helping create a community meetup group called Twitch San Diego Community Meetup, which helped me get a job in Seattle at Xbox as a Community Manager working on some projects there, and then THAT job lead me here to Psyonix! There are many pathways into games, you just gotta find what interests/speaks to you.
As far as the unlimited boost? I might get in trouble if I flip that switch for ya ;)
