Seriously, dead silence on an issue that has persisted for more than a month and was SEVERELY magnified by this update?

Could a dev kindly address this for the masses? Slide over to marketing for a boilerplate scripted answer, anything.....?

Hi everyone, a few things to touch on.

  • We are looking into server performance issues, and it's always helpful to get additional, detailed information when you're running into problems.
  • The best way to help us track down connection/server/perf issues is to send us a ticket (support.rocketleague.com)
  • Video evidence is always very helpful, but only if you have network or performance graphs turned ON. (Settings > Interface > Performance Graphs) The “Long” options are always the most informative.
    • Constant lag issues throughout a match? Use the Network graphs
    • Frame drops or similar? Use the Performance graphs
  • If you’re playing on PC, logs are always incredibly helpful. These are typically found in “My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\Logs”. “Launch” is the log for your last play session. “Launch-backup-[date]-[time]” is a log for a session before your last
  • Since it was mentioned in the comments, we did see evidence of a DDoS attack affecting one of our server providers, but we believe that was isolated to several hours on April 26.

THANK YOU! It's a kindness to address this with hundreds of players tearing their hair out being told it is their connection, which is clearly not the case here.

DDoS didn't smell right for this issue.

In fairness to the mod team on this sub, a lot of the posts about latency, ping, or performance issues made on here don't include actionable information, are (historically speaking) not related to server or client performance, and the issues described are in many cases tied to network hardware, ISPs and/or routing issues unique to the poster.
