Hey everyone.
This is my last and final attempt to get my story heard. Any and all upvotes to get this post seen by the Psyonix developers would be most appreciated. I've tried everything - countless hours of legitimate training combined with begging random opponents to ff have resolved nothing. So here is the story of how I tried to improve my rank in Rocket League but didn't because of my own community's jealousy and spite.
I live in North America, where we have a loosely-knit community and nobody really knows each other. This community is highly competitive, as well as highly toxic. I was able to climb high in the 3v3 ranks in season 14, reaching Champ3 Div2 for the first time. The community thought that I was not good enough to get this rank, and banded against me by refusing to ff even when I asked nicely. They did this out of spite and jealousy. I've been stuck in Champ for three straight seasons, even though I've wanted to reach GC ever since I started playing. I have roughly 3000 hours in the game and I think I finally deserve this rank. I've done training packs, practiced dribbling challenges, watched youtube tutorials...I even tried messing around in freeplay, but got bored and quit after 4 seconds. When none of this worked, I turned to asking my random opponents to ff so that I could finally realize my dream, but this spiteful and jealous community consistently responded "uhh...no." I have supported Rocket League through and through, and it saddens me to see my favorite game turn around and betray me this way. I have been punished for doing well in the game, and I need your help to get this story heard so that I can get my random opponents to recognize me and then ff. I know that they are only trying to play their best and rank up just like me, but I'm special because I have the audacity to come on Reddit and make boldfaced BS claims.
My best friend and team mate has met similar resistance from the community. He was fortunate enough to get GC in season 14, but like me he hasn't reached it again since. Now he dons it whenever we play together, and it fuels me with the spite and jealousy that apparently run so rampantly throughout this community. And both of us have received unfair punishments - random opponents refusing to ff - that need to stop as soon as possible.
If you are a Psyonix employee reading this post, and are able to help us, I would be more than happy to have a discord call discussion and provide all the proof and evidence that we have. My friend might have screenshot evidence of getting his rank fairly, but due to the community's jealousy and spite I do not. Please help us right the wrongs done to us and our accounts.
