I’ve noticed I have a performance drop on newer maps and lately it’s been pretty much every other map too. Just choppy and not smooth, aside from the typical console experience lol

I think we'll have something on the known issues list specific to Deadeye Canyon Oasis soon, as some players seem to be having frame issues on that map. In the meantime, you can always check out the support website, and file a ticket so we can help troubleshoot.
