[2020] Rocket pass glitch. Advanced 450 levels after one game.

My friend went to claim the reward for winning 10 online matches in the Frosty fest (this reward is still shoeing it needs claimed). A tournament game pulled him in right as he claimed it. When he finished the game he had advanced around 450 levels in the rocket pass.

He has all the items he earned from the rocket pass in his inventory. The weird thing is that he cannot connect to the rocket pass and it shows that he has not purchased it. It gives him a connecting to servers error when he clicks on the rocket pass.

Is this a one off glitch?

He is just not sure what to do at this point about being able to reconnect to rewards and the rocket pass.

He did try to contact rocket league support and they sent back a generic message about being able to join tournaments.
