Hey RL reddit,
I just played a tournament with my buddy Frignus and a random teammate. Going into the finals took a long time, arriving 15 minutes before the other team.
When finals started, they threatened to ddos the rl servers if they lost. So 5-3 up, they tell us to "feel it", and all 3 dc from the game, although getting the win. That's until we get into next match, where our 5-3 victory (as seen on the picture) counts as their win. We proceed to chat with them and they are the most toxic guys i've ever encountered in my 2000 hours of playtime. Losing second game. They win.
My questions are: did this happen to anyone else? Is it a frequent thing? Is there any way I, or Psyonix/Epic Games can prevent this from happening again? And last but not least, this was supposed to be me and Frignus' first tournament win and it's honestly very disappointing. Is there any way to recover our victory?
