It's probably a bug? Accidents happen with the items rewarded from item shop. It looks the same ingame and isn't tradeable anyways though.
u/Psyonix_Laudie might be able to confirm if this is an issue on their end.
Edit: We've mentioned this to Psy and they are aware of it :P
Update!
The rarity for the Purple Octane Body has been fixed, and any already purchased Purple Octane's will be updated to Import in player inventory within the next 24hrs. đ
