[2022] PINNED: 4/27 - Removal of Recommended Rocket League Standard Controls

Hi Folks,

On April 27th at 8am PDT (3pm UTC), we will be removing the Recommended Rocket League Standard Controls configurations from Steam Input, and (LEGACY) Official Psyonix Bindings will remain as the sole option for players using Steam Input. With the release of our new game mode Knockout, we were unable to introduce the new actions involved into the Recommended Rocket League Standard Controls. Given the relatively small number of players currently utilizing it, the decision was made to remove the configuration to accommodate the new game mode.

What does this mean?

• Players who are currently using direct in-game action bindings will be unaffected and can continue using it if they would like, however, there will not be options available for binding to any new in-game actions.
  
• New players using Steam input will only have (LEGACY) Official Psyonix Bindings available
  
• If a player currently using the Rocket League Standard Controls configuration switches to a different binding configuration, the (LEGACY) Official Psyonix Bindings will become the only option available.

While we recognize that this may come as an inconvenience to some players, we appreciate your understanding. We see this as a necessary change for Rocket League to continue introducing new ways to play and enjoy the game.
