Our latest update (v1.88) is now live. This thread is an effort to get all bug or glitch reporting into one thread!

  • Take a look at the formatting below (**don't be that person who doesn't use the template**)
  • Please read through the comments before posting your own issue** so we can cut down on duplicate posts
  • Reply to a thread confirming your issue if you already see it posted

Here's the posting format:

  • Bug or Glitch: A brief explanation of the problem.
  • Platform: EGS/Steam/PS4/PS4 Pro/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox One X/Series S/Series X/Nintendo Switch
  • Evidence: Video/Images -- YouTube, Imgur and Gfycat preferred. (If using YouTube, please make the video UNLISTED.)
  • Logs: If playing on PC, grab logs and drop them on Pastebin, and put the link here

Logs on PC are typically located at C:\\Users\\Documents\\My Games\\Rocket League\\TAGame\\Logs

UPDATES

  • We are aware players on the Epic Games Store were not able to start the game after the update. Please restart your EGS client and you should see a new update available for download that should correct this issue.

Does this update address a bug when trading in items from different platforms? I don't mind if you cannot trade in items together from diff platforms, ex: 2 items from PS4 and 3 items from Switch, but a visual indicator for non-platform items would be verrrry much appreciated :)

This update does not, but we've added it to the Known Issues list.

Hey guys, thanks for all of the feedback. This is an issue the team is aware of, however, we do not have an ETA for a fix yet.

The automatically selected option after finishing a match is party up and not "play again" (even in competitive)

  1. Picked a preset from garage.
  2. Queues into drop shot (placements).
  3. After game, changed preset in garage again.
  4. Queued 3s and 2s, went straight into free training.
  5. Joined game, started with the preset I was using in Dropshot.

Have you tried restarting your PC?

There were no files to install today, so there wasn't really anything update assuming you downloaded yesterday's changes.

Today's changeover didn't require a game update, so I want to be sure that I understand the timeline.

u/shamir11 had success updating after clearing Steam Download cache.

To try this, go to Settings > Downloads > click on "CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE" > And click "OK" to confirm.

Once this is down, check to see if Rocket League automatically queues an update, or try verifying game files again to force a check for an update.

Hey there, please make sure that your Switch's date and time are correct. If not, resetting the clock should resolve this issue for you.
