[2022] I had to put my dog down today, and the RL community disappoints.

Hello, for obvious reasons I won't post the player's username, but I recently came across a player with an SSL title that I was able to beat handily in a 1v1. They asked me to queue, and I agreed. We got along well - they didn't play so hot but we won 7 out of 8 games in ranked so I didn't think too much of it - maybe they're just not very mechanical.

Then I got a knock on my door - the vet was going to get here earlier than expected. We gathered as a family and put our boy to rest. A few hours later I got back on RL for some escapism and got an invite from him. Before we queued, I told him what had just happened, because I might play poorly. He was sympathetic and said it was fine, no worries. We played some matches and then got separated again.

Fast forward a couple more matches - and a tourney win I should add - and I decide to invite this guy because all of my friends have gotten off for the night. He sends me an invite back, so I join into a party of 3, and they start up a private match. Immediately I notice one of them had changed their name to 'Pazzeh's dog', and another said, 'WHERE'S YOUR DOG @?????' ... This happened just a few hours after I had just held my best friend in my arms as he died.

Obviously I was very upset, so I immediately left and blocked them all; then I got to thinking, that guy's the worst SSL I've ever seen! I look him up on RL tracker and sure enough this guy was an SSL in 1v1s in season 2, but the next season he didn't play any games... And the season after that he was PLAT.

I'm almost positive that this guy paid for boosting, he can't even get into champ in 2v2. I would like to know what I can do about this - I'd happily PM this guy's epic ID to any mods or Psyonix employees. Thank you, and I'm sorry for the wall of text.
