Our latest update (v1.61) is now live. This thread is an effort to get all bug or glitch reporting into one thread.

  • Please take a look at the formatting below (don't be that guy who doesn't use the template)
  • Please read through the comments before posting your own issue so we can cut down on duplicate posts
  • Reply to a thread confirming your issue if you already see it posted

Please do not post about non-v1.61-related issues here.

Here's the posting format:

  • Bug or Glitch: A brief explanation of the problem.
  • Platform: Steam (PC, Mac, Linux)/PS4/PS4 Pro/Xbox One/Xbox One X/Nintendo Switch
  • Evidence: Video/Images -- YouTube, Imgur and Gfycat preferred
  • If using YouTube, please make the video UNLISTED
  • Logs: If playing on PC, grab logs and drop them on Pastebin, and put the link here

Logs on PC are typically located at C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\Logs

Logs on macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Rocket League/TAGame/Logs/

If you don't see the update yet, restart Steam or your console. It may take several minutes to appear.

UPDATES

  • Confirming that we added some new items to older Event Crates (ex. Haunted Hallows). This helps align Event crates with the Drop Rates now displayed within the Crate Preview menu
  • While it was not included in the Known Issues list, we are aware of the item certification glitch that happens during some P2P trading sessions

KNOWN ISSUES FOUND TODAY

  • Audio when a goal is scored gets too loud (EDIT: This appears to be isolated to both versions of Champions Field)
  • We're investigating why some DLC content (ex. Supersonic Fury) is not available on Xbox One
  • Selecting a Player Banner inside the Crate Preview screen will equip banner to your profile even if you don't own it
  • Some Steam Workshop maps are still having trouble with ball reset and respawn
  • We're looking into ball echo audio. This was an intended addition but we are making sure the implementation is correct

Description: Showroom is now showing Revenge of the Battle Cars/Chaos Run/Supersonic Fury sections as if you were playing on PS4/PC/Switch.

If you attempt to select these items from the showroom, it will lead you to a broken Xbox Store link.

(For reference all these cars come with the Xbox version. Cristianos are missing too.)

There is another post floating around here with evidence mentioning the same issue. I added to it instead of correcting my format here. But I have done that now as well, thanks.

Can confirm that the ball bounce echo add is intentional, but we're taking a look to make sure it's working as intended.

- I know this is probably by design, but it makes it very confusing when a player on the orange team has the blue C9 body decal for example. Please make it so blue and orange skins for Esports teams have at least some blue or orange on them, or some easier way than nameplates to tell what team they are on

Bug: The supposed workshop update does not fix everything. In fact, it now breaks the "Dribble Challenge Overhaul", which fixed this issue in "Dribble Challenge #2", ironically. After a fail your car does not reset it's position properly. And doing a ball reset makes you float in space with the ball for like 4 or 5 tries. "Dribble Challenge 1.2" is also still broken, resetting puts you back at the beginning of the map, which you don't want.

Check to make sure that your antivirus is not blocking Rocket League from launching through Steam. If this is the case, we recommend that you whitelist Rocket League to prevent the issue from persisting.

It happens in the garage aswell, although i couldn't identify a clear pattern for when exactly it happens there (please don't make me do this).

It's easier to reproduce in esports shop:

  1. Equip eg. Gripstride on blue car, equip eg. Septarashi/Finny on orange car.
  2. Enter esports shop.
  3. Cause a car change (selecting another esport item) or a car-color change (left-stick).
  • a) When the target car has Gripstrides, the screw wheel on car animation is shown.
  • b) When the target car has Septarashi/Finny, no animation is shown. The wheels just appear.

All wheels can be categorized either into screw wheel on car animation or into no animation is shown. Gripstride, Septarashi and Finny are just 3 examples.

So I haven't been able to repro anything including the Esports Shop, but I did notice something else: If you swap between different Special Edition Wheels in the Garage, you'll get the impact wrench audio effect, but it doesn't attach the Wheel (screw wheel on car as you put it), it just changes the color.
