So today I had an experience with a player in GC1 3s that had an SSL pink tourney title, I mean okay he is in my team, it should be fine. So like 1 minute in there was one double commit from me and my teammate, my teammate was under the ball so I thought he would rotate back so I could go for the shot on goal. Problem was... my teammate also went and made us double commit and put our "SSL" teammate in a bad spot, ok somewhat our bad and we got scored on, even though it was kind of an easy save, his position was not the best. But sh*t happens ya know. Still had like 4 minutes to go.
The "SSL" player instantly went toxic: "nice double commit." On what I respond: "nice save for an SSL." Might not have been the smartest on my side ofcourse, but the people with the SSL titles in GC think they are gods, when clearly they are not and got boosted/carried. But that's not the point.
The game went on for the full 5 minutes because our 3rd mate didn't want to ff even when our "SSL" started to own goal. Fine... the 5 minutes were over and i'm like ok next match will be better, this was the first game of today, it can't be that bad. I start to quee for the next match and guess what... I got teamed with him again. This time he didn't even wait for anything to happen en he just started to own goal and spamming What a Save! The other team didn't understand either.
Since this behavior is just overal toxic and in my opinion considered as griefing I asked everybody to report him, but I wonder if they all did. I also wonder if behavior like this gets a penalty. He also told me I was "Too high ranked" and I "Need some points loss."
I don't understand why people are like this and also if you lose a match you get matched with the same person again, I don't understand the logic behind it. You lost a round with that player? Let me just match you with him again, it seemed to have worked pretty well for ya last round eh?
Sorry for the rant, in the end I would just like to know if players like this get a penalty if they get reported for griefing?
