[2022] [Bug] Xbox series S lag issue happening to anyone else?

I'm on the series S, I have had no issues for the 9+ months that I've had it. Since about Friday (3-4 days) my controller keeps acting like it disconnected frequently during games. The lights on the controller stay on, and it starts working again usually after a few seconds, but during that time it gets stuck on whatever input was last pressed.

Is this happening to anyone else as of the last few days? I can't really tell if it's rocket league or my controller/Xbox, but since the lights stay on it doesn't seem to be disconnecting, so that makes me think it's a rocket league issue. I'll play more non-RL games to see if I can reproduce it outside of RL.
