in africa rocket league is popular, but psyonix and the community are neglecting us, the only servers here is in south africa and that is a problem. Africa is BIG, 2nd biggest continent to be exact, yet only one location, so if you live north of south africa then ping is unbearable, no matter the server you will have 200 or more ping. People think africa is poor and uncivilized but that isnt true, africa is prosperous and rich, all those starving kids commercials are all filmed in the same place because africa is rich, 5 star hotels, so many more. Africa has more people with 1m+ net worth per country in the world yet the outside world only sees the bad...
So psyonix, please, from the bottom of our hearts, rlcs is not a world championship if there are no africans, i know friends who are 1800+ gc and have beaten some of the best players in the world in 1v1s.
I just ask that at least one server for us africans, a west african server, so that wherever you are in africa at least we have less that 100 ping because i know for a fact that that is something i have never experienced. Think about the players, I would never call it rlcs if not every continent is in it, its just fake advertisements and so I beg of you.
