[2020] List of New Driver Challenge items + Trade-locked items mystery solved?

For the past 2 weeks, I've been keeping track of which Non-Crate items are trade-locked.

I've also been asking new F2Pers what items they get from the "New Driver Challenges".

I now have the answers to both.

New Driver Challenges

There are 4 Sets of 6 New Driver Challenges

, giving 24 items in total:

• Bodies: Backfire, Dominus, Gizmo, Hotshot, Paladin, Road Hog, Venom, X-Devil
• Wheels: Bender, Falco, Invader, Stern, Vortex
• Boost: Bubbles, Flamethrower
• Topper: Royal Crown
• Antenna: Skull, Smiley, Soccer Ball
• Banner: Topographic
• Paint: Corroded Metal, Semigloss, Metallic, Matte

Also, the default items are: Octane, Breakout, Merc, OEM, Standard Boost, Classic Trail, Classic Goal, Glossy Paint.

Trade-locked Non-Crate items

And here's the list of painted items confirmed to be non-tradable right now:

Dominus, Hotshot

, Paladin, Road Hog

, Venom, X-Devil, Falco, Invader, Stern, Vortex, Bubbles, Flamethrower, Royal Crown, Octane: Kana.

For clarity: all instances of those specific painted items are non-tradable, regardless of how or when you obtained them:

• Items obtained through player-to-player trading, before the update.
• Items obtained through Trade-Ups, before or after the update
• Items obtained directly from Drops now

Psyonix have acknowledged they're looking into the glitch, so this wasn't intentional, but they seem confused so it's doubtful that they know the cause.

Looking at the two lists together makes it pretty clear that Psyonix intended to just make the non-painted items trade-locked, but made all painted items trade-locked as well.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on with Kana, but it's unlikely that it's not related somehow, as it's the only other item known to be trade-locked when it should not be.

In other news, Unpainted Import Bubbles

is confirmed to exist, so other unpainted versions of these items should also. That person also confirm that the Unpainted Import Bubbles is tradable.
