[2019] /u/Psyonix_Devin where is the public API we were promised over a year ago?

5 Months ago /u/psyonix_devin said they were working with their legal team to release a public API so developers can create awesome community-driven sites and pull game / player stats. Is this a scrapped project? They have released closed APIs for their own limited sites like rocketleague.tracker.network but what's the holdup

Can we get an update? I'm a developer and I have over 2500 hours in RL -- I want to analyze my player data and I'm champing at the bit! :)
