Hello.
I am going to tell you a story of pain.
It is currently 3:03am, PDT.
I've been playing Rogue Company
for almost 3 hours
without a SINGLE win.
at midnight,
I needed one
one
(1) win for my final daily contract.
I needed the contract to get enough rep to buy Lancer.
I have been losing
due to people leaving the game
and afking
and just being generally unaware.
(Needless to say I can't wait for the next patch with the penalty).
After 2 hours and 30 minutes,
I finally decide to get on mic
to attempt to help
with callouts.
I find a chill dude
who knows how to communicate,
but we still get unaware teammates
and lose.
Then the next game
we take the first point.
3/4 of the enemy team disconnect,
leaving one dude
to be beaten
with our bats and swords.
Then he disconnects.
After 3 hours of suffering
for a single
daily
contract.
3 hours of losing
due to teammates disconnecting,
we win
when the entire enemy team disconnects,
I could've stopped
at literally any point.
I earned enough rep for Lancer an hour in
but I just wanted
the satisfaction
of one,
single,
win.
and that win came
when the entire enemy team quit.
Nothing I did mattered.
It was a fluke.
