I'm not sure if this is already implemented or if I just suck really really badly, but I play on Switch and notice that sometimes people are just insanely accurate, on my team and the other team. I looked at the phase schedule and I don't remember seeing anything that talked about input based matchmaking, though I've seen some Hi-Rez people in the past mention it.

I think the only reason why someone should be matched with people who use different inputs is if you are in a party with people who have different inputs. So like if I party up with my PC/console w/ M+KB playing friend well I just know I'm going to be matched with M+KB ppl, but if my controller PC friend and I play on Switch I shouldn't be paired with M+KB ppl.

Loving the game so far, but it's kind of lame to just get curbstomped repeatedly for reasons outside of getting outplayed or outflanked.

Edit: Hey guys let's keep this community chill alright? I get that you don't like the Switch for whatever reason, but let's just enjoy the game together.

Any sources on that? I've played mkb on xbox and never get xbox lobbies. You can tell by trying to look at their profile, and I've had some toxic teammates complain about console aim assist.

To clarify any confusion around this, here is how MM currently works in this regard:

  • If you are playing on PS4, Xbox, or Switch you will be paired up with each other.
  • If you are playing on PC you will be paired up with each other.
  • If you are playing in a mixed group you will be go into the PC queue.

We're continuing to look at how MM works and are always open to new ideas, however as mentioned this is still Closed Beta so any additional implementations would be down the road.
