In order to keep in touch with players, you must have a healthy connection between the dev team and the players. Also, keeping the subreddit organized and in order is the top priority to share the important stuffs with the players and let them enjoy the subreddit as well.

Right now. The admin and some mods are only sharing videos of themselves "look at me and my clutch play" stuff. Literally, two or three mods are not even in this subreddit.I think they didn't even join. They don't have any posts or karma. An average redditor has more activity among subreddits and karma as well. If you, the management, don't contribute anything to this subreddit, how players will do is another matter.

Reposts aren't taken care of. Witch-hunting happens. Players are trying to f*ck each other by trading fake keys. Nothing has been done about them.

99% of the posts are about "where is my founder edition content?" because there is no pinned up explanation about it, series of "look at my ace/clutch gameplay", barrage of "look at this scoreboard, I rock but my teammates suck", and etc. edit: forgot to mention "over the limit challenges"

Only 1% of the posts are about the genuine feedback of this beta process.

Dear u/HiRezRadar , if you don’t handle with these matters, I'm sorry to say that this game will have no future... at least player-made content wise. That's why I'm still unsure to support this game financially.

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this, and I'd like to share a few of my own if I might as well:

  • The moderators here are all volunteers and work with the subreddit out of their investment with the Rogue Company community. Most of them actually manage not only this but help us with our official Discord having more than 30k folks on it. I literally could not get as much feedback to the team, and dozens of other things without their help.
  • The subreddit has really only been super active for about 8 days which in my experience isn't enough time to really establish a new Reddit community. It forms over weeks and months through various game changes and memes.
  • Key trading isn't allowed here outside of a single thread started by the team. If you see a post, report it. I see those threads disappearing so I know they are grabbing them.
  • You seem genuinely concerned about traffic here clogging up valuable feedback and I do understand. I thank you personally for having that concern and stay awake some nights wondering if I missed something important. I've been using Reddit communities for feedback about 7 years now and because of the upvoting system I can't think of a time where a major issue popped up and we went "Whoa...where did that come from?"

I'm glad you are here. I'm glad you are part of this community and I don't want you to spend a penny until you are ready. I think it'll be worth it in the end.

To anyone having similar concerns, hang in there as we all help develop this subreddit into an incredible extension of the Rogue Company community.
