Hello everyone,
It feels crazy to write this but this is my last post officially as a member of Jagex and as Mod Shauny.
When I first joined the RuneScape CM team back in 2016 I was my first goal was to try and bring life into the RS Reddit from the Jagex side of things, I think looking back on it all now almost 4 years later I'm proud of what I've done.
I've had such a blessed opportunity to work with incredibly talented people, through it alL I've tried to make their lives better by acting as the middle ground between you the players and them the developers.
During my time here I was also very lucky to work on projects outside of my role based on what I thought you/the game needed, some of these include the ability to swap Skyboxes, the debuff bar, item tooltips and the Clan Ava Rework/Broadcasts update, which I hope you still enjoy to this day!
I thrived on trying to make sure as many players and communities were listened to and replied on, should stuff go wrong I wanted to make sure we had messaging out to try and deal with whatever had happened. Jagex employed me in this industry when I was 19, I'm now 25, have a beautiful wife and perfect little girl and I'm proud of the mark that I hope I've left on this game.
It goes without saying I'll continue to play, I have 120s to get and goals to hit!
I've had the most incredible time hosting the streams, the month aheads, the RuneFests and being the person to try and make each and every one of your days.
I owe it all to Jagex for giving me that chance, and now I have a wonderful opportunity ahead of me!
First of all I'll be hosting my final official RS stream tonight at 17:00 game time, then I hope to see you all in-game tonight at 20:00 game time at Falador on World 66, and if you don't I'll be streaming it on my channel https://www.twitch.tv/Shaunyowns!
I'll continue to play in-game on my account 'Shaunyowns' and I'll keep my FC open if you want to stop by and say hi!
I only have one more thing to say really and that is, thank you. Thank you for everything, you all gave me the chance to be the person you listen to when you have issues/feedback for this game and I will never forget it.
