Half of the people here missed most of the actual points covered to just talk about exp rates but just so I'm clear, I don't regard that as an issue in the slightest. I found the "dredge" to be fun so long as the low-mid level tasks are viable. As it turns out the low-mid tasks are a mix of good, okay and "really haven't been touched once since 2013's EOC change and are stuck in forgotten limbo for various reasons" -this one covers 50% of the tasks.

Categorically it falls into either one of below and I'm going to follow up with the easiest single-office-hour-fix Jagex can do for each of them:

- The task creatures are so thinned out you run out of things to kill. (Example. Ice giants tasks done in asgarnia ice dungeon. The classic example of "you kill 3 things and then you wait 20 seconds for the next spawn"). Adding extra ice giants/the mob in question fixes that. Go down the list (I see roughly 70 task creatures spread between turael, maz, vanakka, chaldar and sumona. I think only 35 or less of them need adding.) No their drops weren't OP to begin with so adding a few more of them per location cluster should not make any employee feel pressured.

- The drops aren't noted. So they forgot. Again, go down the list & make the drops be noted.

- 1h weapon setups are bad but mirror shield and harpie bug lantern is mandatory. Not a single office hour fix for this but: introduce a threshold that can only be used if no defensive ability has been used in 60 seconds (but still requires a shield to be equipped). Thus enabling 1h+shield combat as an offensive choice. Balance this new threshold to make the strategy overall inferior DPM compared to 2h and dual wields so as to not provoke community outrage. Also, shield looks nice + strategy is viable = sandbox noob is happy is a win win. Workload is to code in 1 threshold and do some DPM simulation on a dummy. Not so difficult I hope.

- Exp rates are slow & inconsistent. I won't perceive this as a problem.. for now. Because EOC low level combat exp rates are either too good or too bad. When early game combat experience is reworked in 2030 and burthrope trolls are no longer allowing you to cheese 1-30 in every combat stat in a breeze, we can talk. Now is not the time.

- Task weight is inconsistent. Just do this roughly because otherwise you'll put this off for another 10 years. I say any tasks that are 30 min long should be looked at (and I'm putting this generously because deep down me & fellow noobs want all lvl 1-60 tasks to be sub 15 mins at most).

- Unique drop slayer loots suck at low levels. We won't talk about this for now.

- Personal: High end slayer mobs are all out in an open field so you clearly realize random stalagmites and rocky outcrops are too obstructive for a modern day game. Kindly remove them from various low level slayer areas or make them phase-able terrain please.

Actually going to tag Mod Stu when the weekend is over because I didn't spend my Friday night typing this up for nothing.
