Often times Jmods seems disconnected from the player base and only time I see them really engage outside of events is trolling big streamers every now and then. If I was a Jmod I'd rename a paper and trade it to people saying "I've been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty" and then leave.
I think jmods should bs and joke with the community more when possible.

There’d be times where I’d loot beam myself as someone kills a boss to try and get that reaction or just turn everyone into Goebies and let them run wild, admittingly it was easier for me because I worked in community whereas a Dev may not have that freedom.
For a game like RS I know for a fact that every developer is going their absolutely hardest but it can take their toll on them especially when it comes to community comments, the RS community can be absolutely brutal and I’ve seen first hand what it’s done to them.
I agree fun is great but sometimes the negativity can get them down.
