First of all, I'd like to thank Jagex for taking the time to rework this D&D, in most ways it's a big step in the right direction.

The alarmingly bad issue with this change:

The stars degrade within like 30-40mins and we're stuck waiting nearly an hour and a half for the next wave. Due to the daily limit, touching another star that'll be size 3 by the time you're done, isn't worth it either.

How this can easily be changed and improved:

  1. Change the spawn wave timers to 45mins or an hour.

OR

  1. Extend how long the stars last to an hour and make wave timers 1hr 30mins.

I'm open to other suggestions or times on this issue, I just put times I felt would erase a fair portion of this excessive time gap.

i'm interested in reading more people's thoughts on this (i'm off for the holidays now but will keep an eye on socials - any changes wouldn't be coming in until january regardless)

i'd be open to reducing the time between each wave (though likely to something like 1hr 30 or 1hr 15 to still allow sufficient time for finishing the star + breathing room until the next one) & increasing the stagger time between worlds (so effectively this would work as stars being available a lot of the time, across worlds)

this was something that was discussed a fair bit during development FWIW (with pros and cons to each) - personally i feel it is quite integral to the identity of a D&D that it's not always-on
