First all, Itd he really nice if the luck of the dwarfs relic also gave a passive on all rings that give the g.e. teleport. That's probably the thing I used most when I had the actual luck of the dwarfs ring. And irs actually a big blow to have to carry another tele or walk from edgeville lodestone. The luck of the dwarves relic is pretty damn expensive, is a pretty decent grind to even have the ability to get it, and it's a bit of a journey to create all the relics before that and buy all the rings you basically destroy. So I think adding a g.e. tele shouldn't be a big deal and make the relic too op or something.

Second thing. Having the end power cap at 120 is fine. That being said, I think it'd make way way more sense to have the relic power increase as you go through the levels. 50 here at 105, another 50 at 112, so on. I think the cap could he slightly increased as well in total, so each milestone can be a bit bigger deal. There are combos I'd like to use that in 50 or so power short from. I don't need the entire boost and I don't want or need any of the rewards between those things. But to have someone HAVE to grind all the way to 120 to get more power than you may want or need, seems kinda off. As using relics and their combos are arguably the biggest reward in arch, not being able to even mess with new combos until 120 is just a bit much for most people. Even people who play a decent amount like me and are maxed.

I know there's the argument of, 120s and all those hardcore goals should have MORE value and things quote "shouldnt just be handed to you". But hundreds upon hundreds of hours for the type of rewards runescape gives out and the more gradual "a few percent buff here, a few there" being the main drive of progression, is a hard pill to swallow for most people. Its often, yeah that looks cool or yeah that item would be nice, but I'm not going to torture myself for dozens of hours for it. Because at it's core, that isn't what most people would consider fun.

I'm not saying we should have super hardcore beyond max end game style content, but I think the rewards for those things should be given out more gradually during the journey, better paced. Instead of these rewards often being, you either grind for dozens upon dozens of hours and finish it to completion, or there is NO point in doing so. The final power upgrades should be more gradually placed throughout level 99-120, to motivate players to keep going and feel like they are getting more powerful and progressing as they are playing through the levels. Instead of waiting to completely finish the content to get any of the benefit what so ever when the grind is pretty extreme. People forget how grindy this game is relative to even other games people consider grindy.

Runescape is on a whole different level in terms of the grind. And the content itself is not very engaging relatively speaking. So to make that stuff feel worth it, and to get more people who start the game to actually get to this content, you really do need a better paced progression for stuff like this that feels impactful. Not just little niche things here and there.

This reads like you may have missed that the monolith power cap already does increase at various levels (mostly from Guild special research).

  • Level 40 (+100)
  • Level 70 (+150)
  • Level 90 (+100)
  • Level 120 (+150) - this one being boostable from at least level 117

The current total power available is 650.
