31s | it's a city for all those Wayward Souls |
33s | somewhere for them to go when they don't |
35s | know what afterlife is waiting for them |
37s | yet it's a strange place a liminal space |
40s | it's a City built for memories as people |
43s | remember their lives they manifest them |
45s | and the city grows and shifts and walks |
48s | over time death being the first person |
49s | on Gideon or to die was its founder his |
52s | memories were the first to shape the |
55s | city and some elements of the city still |

98s | at the ritual site in the city of um |

102s | consist of light sources such as candles |
104s | and glyphs around a chosen Focus object |
107s | as you grow your skills of The |
108s | Necromancer the city of um will come |
110s | alive alongside you yeah in the other |
112s | part of the city okay that there are |
114s | many places to retrieve like goods and |
118s | tools and we wanted to make sure that |
120s | they were all themed in the best way |
123s | possible there are lots of things for |
125s | players to discover in the city of um |
127s | there's the courtyards where we have a |
129s | lodestone as well as various shops a |
132s | boat sheds we'll see what that's about |
134s | later the entrance to the runecrafting |
136s | area and of course what city is not |
139s | complete without a pub a lot School |
141s | the buildings are really quite silly in |
144s | places aren't they yeah no the usual |
147s | runescapey twist yeah yeah |
152s | we've even added an owlery that wasn't |
154s | part of the original design it's been |
156s | added into the city as a place for all |
158s | of these Omens to live is the right |
160s | companion for a player in the city of |
164s | we're putting in a bakery that sells uh |
166s | death Day cakes and yeah exactly or a |
169s | psychologist okay yeah make sure it's |

175s | it's very tongue-in-cheek it's very |

185s | ambition is to break the cycle of life |
187s | and death to control all of the souls |
191s | um they also have their own plan to |
193s | steal the souls from the city of rum and |
195s | enthrall them as their own Army of the |

199s | so the design of the first Necromancer |
201s | Citadel is really a reflection on the |
204s | character who created it right the whole |
206s | idea of this space is that it's formed |
209s | from his will from his memories |

216s | extravagant place I mean it literally |
218s | looms over the rest of the city and all |

222s | so many memorable environments and |

227s | it's an incredible incredible piece of |
229s | content a real achievement for the whole |
231s | team yeah definitely the city of um is |
234s | beautiful it is absolutely gorgeous the |
237s | art team has just absolutely smashed it |
240s | as they always do to be fair but this is |
242s | just like next level |
244s | and of course the release of the new |
246s | skill is just the beginning while the |
248s | city of um does have lots for players to |
250s | discover at release it's also a place |
252s | that we're going to see grow and build |
