Life and Death? Really? What a terrible non-thematic decision for a name.
The Pickaxe of Earth and Song mines the earth and is made from crystal song.
The Mattock of Time and Space digs for history and is made from a meteorite shard.
So the new pickaxe... Mines up life and is made out of bones? The name doesn't make any sense, it doesn't match the thematic naming of the other ultimate tools at all!
It sounds more like a combat weapon, or even a farming tool. In no way does this sound like a pickaxe, except the first word.
I really enjoy the names of E&S and T&S, this is just thoroughly disappointing. It's like you just arbitrarily picked a pair of words that go together and COMPLETELY forgot it's a pickaxe, and to theme it even a little.
