Unfortunately not I'm afraid. From a content development standpoint, the Max Cash Update was significant work which is why it was our bigger content drop of the month.
That work has been done content side (and engine side), but the delay has only slipped out because of some additional engine-based work we need to do due to discoveries in testing that mean it will take longer to deliver.
If we were moving this out from a content development standpoint, we would have loved to swap something with it - but the allocated work has happened so unfortunately we can't replace it with anything at this late stage.
What's the next steps FSOA and animation dead?
Sponge was at the Necromancy Playtest for a lot of last week, but Shogun and Sponge will be chatting early this week. We hope to have an update for you very soon - at least detailing next steps and expected timelines.
Is the woodcutter's grove update still in June now the max cash update is not in May but in June?
Woodcutter's Grove is still on track. Max Cash's delay is purely about extra engine work, so it doesn't have a knock on effect to the content team's work.
Can we have ninja/QOL updates at LEAST on these no-update weeks to justify membership/restarting the servers?
Most of our QOL update work is going into the Community Hitlist Strike at the moment, balanced around development support for Necromancy as we get to that big push later development phase!
This ended up being a much smaller Patch Week than usual, but you should still see a healthy flow of patch fixes on the road to the Hitlist.

Not at all the plan. Max Cash was originally due to drop this week in our schedule until we discovered the engine fix that was needed in that extensive testing pass for the change.
will we be expect for a june 12 of this year release or winter 2017? this is so frustrating
Totally understand the frustration. We know that's a risk that comes with wanting to be more transparent with things like the Development Roadmap and then seeing something you were looking forward to get delayed.
The main thing is the team are taking the time to get this right and extensively test it. It touches so many things in the game that we have to do as much as we can to make sure it releases as you'd expect.
Based on how much testing has been done by this point, we're optimistic June 12th is the date. As we promised in the post, if it has to shift again (ie. fix needs more time or something), we're going to be open about it and keep you updated on when. Not what we expect to happen though.

Doom has been with us three months now so he's in a great spot to get that started. The Necromancy Creator Trip (and preparing for First Look next week!) means we haven't been able to start the regular stream cadence we want to do just yet, but after that's all done, it should hopefully be the norm to see streams most weeks.
The release of the Max Cash Update will raise the 2.1b coin limit on your Money Pouch, G.E Trades, Gold Stacks and more
Is this actually true? I haven't been following the development super closely, but I thought the idea was that this change would only apply to money pouch and GE trades, and normal item stacks in inventory/bank would retain the existing 2147m limit. Did they find some way to raise it for everything instead?
Heyo! We have updated the text to remove the confusion at the moment. We will be talking about the Max Cash Update when it is due to launch to help clarify what will change.

Good to see they also copied the same DXP live article as last week, on which there was comments that the DXP timer on the website was wrong.
This was a known miscommunication, and gets repeated now, yet again.
Perhaps not release a News Article if you're knowingly wrong, or causing misinformation, or add a disclaimer at least (like; remove the link to the site that still says June)?
{At the very least, hire a test reader, because this has been the third week with typo's, wrong dates, wrong times, and copy/paste errors, this one specifically being repeated twice}
The Double XP: LIVE section in the TWIR is correct - it ends on Monday May 29th.
It's the webpage that's wrong. We've raised that to the team that owns it to fix.
When does dxp actually end because this article says the 29th and so did the announcement article but this page says the 2nd of June

Timer wasn't reduced it ran from the 19th till the 29th. The dxp page on the website had said 2nd due to an error which was updated to resolve, it was broadcasted as running from the 19th-29th in the newspost.
