Opening the Yak track causes the game client to crash :(

Too bad Jagex stopped with events and replaced them with yak tracks.
The kind of events I'm guessing you are referring to are still very much on the cards, living alongside Yak Tracks and Double XP LIVE style events too!
We've been teasing it a little on stream, but we do have plans for something new this Halloween with an eye towards the Holidays as well.
