Hi! Unfortunately these need to be pushed forward a bit around the legs to minimise clipping :( I had 'em hugging the body a lot more tightly originally and if you equipped any sort of armour on the legs it went right through. You managed to pick the perfect angle to accentuate this though, can barely see how it wraps around the back hahaha.

Haha, unfortunate circumstance then I guess; clipping's always going to cause some weird issues.

Yeah it do be that way sometimes! This gave me a good laugh though, hope you enjoy being the coolest dad on the beach

Yeah the upper body also seems to bulk up a little for some reason, easily noticable if you look at the necklace. I can understand the bottom if it was clipping with the legs, but not sure why the top got pushed out as well. For the jumpers it kind of made sense, since they were supposed to be thick wooly sweaters.

Have a look at the female version and let me know what you think in comparison! :) For these I created the male version after I made the female from scratch, as you've all pointed out it comes with its own problems but I'm curious to see if it's worth doing this every now and then.

The female version definitely looks better. It does have a bit of extra chub around the middle (where the apron is tied) compared to "hide slot", but that's hardly noticable.

The male version just has a bit of weird extra bulk on the chest for what's supposed to be a t-shirt; it almost looks like you've got body armour under the shirt compared to the figure of the character with "hide slot". That's kind of been a common occurrance with a lot of the recent cosmetics, extra bulk in the chest.

Ooh thanks, noted! I'd say a lot of that is due to how bulky our base models are, this was probably my third equipment-related task since I started at Jagex and I'm still trying to figure out the sweet spot for how many polygons I should put in the chest area to get the shapes I want in there, so this kinda constructive criticism is super useful :) For a lot of types of clothing it doesn't make sense for it to be skin-tight, with this apron I added a little fold where it's sort of hanging over the waist strap and I see how that makes it look a lil chubby if you do a side by side comparison. Gonna keep that in mind for my future work.

Yeah, for stuff that isn't armour, it might be good to keep a side-by-side with the "hide slot" model (side view like this, rather than front-on) just to see how the slimer cosmetics compare to the regular default shirts. I think a lot of people really like the slim/simple cosmetics - you see quite a few running around with hide slot on both the top and legs. There's definitely an audience for heavy bulky armour too though.

Yup we do that already - it's a little difficult to explain without visuals but this stuff is all trickier than it sounds, in short the base models are super bulky already and if you add something like a belt on top it's emphasised even further. We're working hard to figure it all out and find a middle ground most of you guys are happy with :)

Glad it's appreciated! I'm happy to talk about it as long as people are being constructive

Is it possible to have a check in place where if the player is not wearing legs then use the model for the apron that hugs the body more?

Unfortunately as of right now, it's not :(

I for one am glad that they mimic the average body of every home BBQ enthousiast more truely.

Not everyone can be a build, ripped world quardian every summer and still cook a mean burger for his/her family when it's sunny.

It's a fantasy game, but I really like this one. Bit Thor-gimme-more-food-have-another-beer host :)

Hahaha glad you like it! I understand and appreciate people's frustrations as well, but it's the best when people take the time to write something nice like you did :D
