Myself and Doom try have a little fun in the patch notes sometimes, especially around things that have cropped up in community spaces more then once, this was intended as a bit of banter.

This week's patch notes were written up by me, as Mod Azanna (who always does such a stellar job with them!) was on a much-deserved holiday.
Whenever I write up patch notes or blog posts (infrequently though that is) I try and throw some quips, jokes or puns in to the mix to make reading the patch notes a bit less monotonous. This one might have missed the mark for some people, but trust me: When you get asked as often as I got asked, you're going to be glad to see this put to rest.

Forgive me. Everyone is pissed about this game's poor direction. And we've got leadership hiding behind community managers. Sad times for RuneScape.
I'm not putting you on blast for having a memory! I have to try and be funny (and occasionally fail). It's a risk I take when trying to be out-and-about within the community, trying to be visible, communicating even when there's not a lot to say that will answer the burning questions the community has. It's not like I'm oblivious of these issues - on the contrary, they're most of what I talk to the team about!
You missed a great chance to actually be funny and make a beating a dead horse necromancy joke
Hindsight is 20/20 - Next time, for sure!
