[2020] Question about gaining qualifications in archaeology

I'm fairly close to lvl 70 arch and will most likely still be down 70-80 artefacts I need to excavate and restore to get the rest of the requirements for the next qualification.

Is it worthwhile once I hit 70 to go farm a low level spot for simple artefacts and try to pump those out until I reach enough for the qual. or am I better off just continuing as normal and unlocking it at whatever point I get those targets?
