This damn quest. I've submitted 3 bug reports in game, and one in discord, and now I'm doing one here. This quest is confirmed bugged by 5 other players for me:
Having a big issue with quest: Gertrude's Cat. I've done everything. Fed the cat milk and sardines, and gotten the popup saying to look for the kittens, but there are no "jiggling crates" in the nearby building. I've troubleshot with several helpers and the crate that's supposed to be searchable is absolutely not. Steps I have tried: Relogging, server hopping, restarting the game, teleporting away and completing other quests, and coming back, running to Fort Forinthry to see if the crate was there, since that was where the quest used to be, and even waiting all night over a week to try again every day. I've tried switching to mobile and seeing if it works there. This is stopping me from being able to progress for Temple at Sennestein:
On a hunch I went to dimension of disaster and discovered that Gertrude is there also, and I have to help her kittens resurrect Fluffs, which I did, and completed, but it didn't fix the issue.
I've looked in almost every building in Varrock for the "jiggling crate".
I'm now half-convinced that being on that plus being halfway through resurrecting fluffs in the dimension of disaster is what broke it, but I have no way to confirm because there's absolutely ZERO feedback on bug reports anywhere in this game. I've progressed in Dimension of Disaster as far as I can as well, but I can't make progress on Curse of Arrav because this STUPID bugged quest is preventing me from progressing. I can't abandon it and start over, either.
