Yes, you can(and probably should) argue that they should have been free in the first place, but I get it, they're a company, companies do this all the time and everyone hates it. It's a good step towards being different and hopefully we'll see more of it soon.

Edit: well, missed the bit about being free soon. But they will be, that's what matters.
