[2020] Can't get XP from Tears of Guthix

Once the time runs out, I drink the liquid from the bowl but I don't get XP and I can walk around with the bowl in my hands.
My lowest skill is archaeology and the XP should go to it since the XP embargo is over.
I can go back in tears of guthix but the same bug repeats.

Why does this visual bug occur? In the quest "Dead and Buried" you are able to switch between your Player Character and The Raptor. If you switch to The Raptor whilst wearing a Blue Partyhat, it turns into a Red Partyhat.
