[2020] Is there a reason to why Ripper Demon is even getting a pet?

Was the pet in the works already and they just decided to release it since it was there already or was there massive demand for a 1/30k drop log drop released years after the actual slayer mob has been out.

Why not just put it in the slayer shop for tons of slayer points and let it's examine show your slayer task streak so both reaper and slayer tasks have a pet that displays task streaks.

Drops like this should've been released on the same day the Slayer mob was released.

Just saying because Edimmu Pet seems like it's easy on paper but in reality you're going to probably prestige Edimmu before actually getting the pet as a drop.

I don't mind these types of drops if they are like released at the same time as the monster who drops it.
