Vis wax apparently @modstu

You're Guthixdamn right. "Vis" to rhyme with "fleece", from the Latin. It's a right good wheeze.

Also, every time someone pronounces the silent T in TzHaar, I increase the number of obsidian shards required for the Wandering Ga'al miniquest.

I've spent a lot of time over the last few months in conversations that go like this:

"TzKal"

"Tuz-Kal?"

"No, TzKal"

"Zuh-Kal?"

"No, TzKal"

Is it silent? I thought you start your tongue at t and then say the z.

For example Ndiaga Dieye. The n is not silent but it isnt easy to hear either. (I'm assuming the ndia is pronounced the same as my friends name) she tells people to ignore the n, but it is there.

Technically you're right - your approach is particularly helpful to get adjacent consonants to sound right. eg TzTok-Jad or TzKal-Zuk.

If in doubt, ask God Ash: https://youtu.be/kFM6RSCzPgI?t=288
