I'm curious if the Weapon / Armor unlockable via the Boon system will be augmentable, and if so, will we be able to reclaim it? Or is it a one time use?

I see 99, 120, QC, MQC have been confirmed as inverted skill capes, though I'm curious if untrimmed skillcapes will be inverted at all?

I'm curious how the Boons will make themselves available to us, whether it's via an interface or an NPC we have to return to. Not likely to get info on this before release but I thought I'd ask anyway.

You mention Fresh Start will receive all updates the live game does, will that mean the game time and systems will be the same? For instance, will we be able to utilize Vis Wax FC on live for Fresh Start worlds, or will they be out of sync in this form?

Treasure hunter disabled for competitive stage (First 8 weeks). Is this entirely or purely purchasing of Treasure Hunter? If entirely, will we receive all Keys post competitive period for things like quest completion and Prior Daily Keys?

Hello there! Happy to answer your questions :)
- The weapon and armour will not be augmentable but will be reclaimable if lost.

- The MQC is actually not going to be available in inverted form, as we deemed it more or less impossible to get in the timeframe. Inverted trimmed capes will be available and will be changed to the colour of their trimmed version's trim. So for example, the inverted untrimmed attack cape will be yellow instead of red.

- Boons will be available via a shop interface that is accessible from the event host. You will need certain amounts of progress points gained by leveling, questing and completing achievements to unlock boons. Your progress points won't be spent, so as soon as you reach certain milestones, you'll be able to unlock the Boon for that milestone without having to worry about being able to afford everything.

- For the most part, the game time and systems will all be the same. Afaik, FCs will work across world types, but when it comes to clans, you won't be able to join existing clans and will instead have to create new clans in Fresh Start Worlds or join clans that were created in Fresh Start Worlds. Voice of Seren will also differ compared to the main game.

- You won't be able to play Treasure Hunter at all during the competitive phase, but you will keep keys received for quests and daily challenges etc., so you'll be able to use all your keys from quests immediately after the competitive phase ends. Note that, if you hit the cap of 100 keys during the competitive phase, you won't accumulate any more keys until the competitive phase ends and you use some of your keys.

any more exact details on how character creation will work?

like if u create a character now and leave them on the customization screen then when the update happens FSW will show up in advanced play mode, and then u'll be asked to enter a membership code from bonds?

You'll be asked whether you want to create a regular or FSW account in the lobby before your first login, so you won't be able to create a character now and leave them on the customization screen. This is also when you'll be asked to enter the code :)

What about the next DXP? Is it working on FSW?

Because we already give XP boosts in FSW, DXP won't be active in FSW.

How about particles of 120 capes?
Will they have the inverted colours as well?

120 attack cape is normally red with yellow particles. Will inverted be yellow with red partles? Or also yellow particles?

Particles will also have inverted colours :) So the 120 attack cape's particles will be red!

Does this mean 99's and 120's are being seen as seperate capes by inversion tokens?

So if you have attained level 99 Attack and you'll use your token in the main game your 120 Attack will not become/have an inverted option?

Yes, that's right! :) There's two tokens for each skill. One for 99 and one for 120.

The 120 Dungeoneering cape is unique in that it has 3 colors, the orange/brown, the white trim, and the black particles.

How will this cape be inverted?

In this case, the brown and white will be switched, but the black particles will stay the same across both variants.

Question about the the weapon and armour - Will we ever be able to get them in cosmetic versions? I was looking forward to unlocking them for the main game as the concept art for this set looks nice for fashionscape.

These will be limited to their wearable versions. You'll keep them on your FSW account on transition, but won't be able to trade them.

I have a question. I have created an alt account before the reveal of FSW. I logged into it in RS3 but I never actually finished with character creation because I couldn't think of a username to use for it. Would this account be able to play in FSW since I haven't technically played RS3 with it or would I need to make a new account with one more email address?

Unfortunately, as the decision to make your account an FSW account happens in the lobby before your first ever login, you won't be able to use that account :(

Any new info on being able to use bonds from the main game to give FSW accounts membership?

This will be possible! You'll be able to use a bond on your main account to generate a code that you can then enter when you create your FSW account to give it membership! :)

With the cap being at 100 keys, it basically does not pay off to do quests after those 100 keys for the first 8 weeks. Can something be changed so you can use the keys earned from quests? Just not buy them

I'll mention this to the rest of the team!

This has been actioned :) Unless someone comes along tells us to revert it, we've significantly increased the cap for earned keys during the competitive phase!

Hiii again, hoping I can still get some more questions answered here!

I'm aware accounts that have entered the live game cannot play on Fresh Start Worlds and you said in another reply here to Mage_Girl_91_ that you cannot prepare a character ahead of time on the customization screen. Are you however able to of logged into the lobby before? I'm worried I'll log in too early with timezone differences and brick my new account because I was too early for the lobby prompt. Am I able to utilize a new account that has not yet logged into the game, but has lobbied previously? So I'm not stuck creating another account needlessly if I jump the gun.

I'm also curious on the topic of referral bonuses if they're at all usable? (I assume not) But in the case they're not, is this something we'll have backlogged until after the 8 week competitive phase like the Treasure Hunter Keys as you mentioned in your original response.

Thanks again for the great work! Might have even more questions yet! Still very very hyped!

Hey again :)

I didn't work on the lobby bits of this project, but from what the others have told me, it sounds like you can make a character and never log in, and then make them a FSW character with your first login. I'm not 100% on this though.

I'll have a look at the referral bonuses question on Tuesday next week and get back to you then ^^

Another question I'll throw in if I'm not already pushing my luck :P I was curious if Quest XP rewards were going to be altered at all during the Fresh Start Worlds! Hope you're having a great day!

EDIT: Oop, I'm a ball of questions! Sorry, little one this time. I was just wondering if it had been confirmed at all that the boon of Defense armor was going to include a full set, AKA boots / Gloves etc. Thanks again!
EDIT 2: Sorry, another! I was curious whether death costs were going to be adjusted at all for Fresh Start Worlds to allow for new players to experience bosses without as much difficulty, at least while the economy is beginning perhaps!

Hey! I had a look at referral bonuses, which will be backlogged like you speculated :)

Quest XP rewards, XP from lamps etc. won't be affected by FSW XP boosts, like during DXP.

The armour will have the common five pieces (head, torso, legs, hands, feet)!

Death costs won't be adjusted, but there will be free deaths from a certain point in the event timeline :)

Thank you! I'm happy to help ^^ Glad you're looking forward to it!

Will the inverted cape unlock token provide both the untrimmed and trimmed versions independent of how many 99s you have, or will it require the account using the token to not have obtained more than one 99 in order to get the untrimmed version?

Also, will the FSW account retain the ability to have the inverted version of the cape even if the token is traded away? Thank you for your help.

Once you use the token, the account you used it on will forever be able to buy inverted capes of that type, so you'll be able to buy trimmed versions once you've gotten your second 99.

And yeah, the FSW account will retain the ability to buy inverted capes :) So you get inverted cape buying abilities on 2 accounts (unless you trade your tokens away of course ^^)

Existing skillcape vendors will sell them once you've unlocked the ability to buy inverted capes! :)
