[2022] Notice: Update on Zamorak 'Boss Skip' Functionality

Hey everyone,

We've discovered the Zamorak Elite Dungeon Skip - unlocked at 25 kills - works at any accessible Enrage rather than only Enrages with a full run completed.

To clarify what this means.

• Once you kill Zamorak 25 times, you unlock the ability to skip the Elite Dungeon.
• The intended way the Zamorak Elite Dungeon Skip would work is only your highest Enrage completed with a full run - which means completing both the Dungeon and the Boss - would be skippable.
  • In other words, you are not intended to be able to skip when pushing Enrage - only on Enrage difficulties you have already completed.
  • The only exception is after 250% Enrage where that rule no longer applies.
• The way the skip is currently working is, once unlocked, you can simply skip the Elite Dungeon on your highest accessible Enrage regardless of if you have completed a full run or not.
  • In other words, you can currently skip the Elite Dungeon when pushing Enrage.

To ensure a fair World's First Race, we've decided this won't be fixed in the near term and instead get the word out to all players. We'll be reviewing this further down the line to decide if this should be how it sits long term, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
