Hi i recieved this email from supposedly jagex about a banned macroing account today, is this legit?

EDIT: When i log on to the account i'm still not allowed ingame and the ban remains on the website.
External link →We are indeed sending these out - there's currently a short delay between the account being reinstated and the email being delivered so I advise checking your account in an hour's time or so.
How old of accounts are getting unbanned? Have one that was banned probably three years ago that is still banned.
Accounts identified are based on a few factors such as events surrounding the ban and a lot of other things - not all accounts identified will be unbanned just yet, they are getting done in batches.
Got the email about 3 hours ago, account is still banned. Should I just wait longer? Or email an appeal?
There's 2500 accounts still left that it's processing, should be done shortly - it's slow today!
