It is the 11th.
The email newsletter got it typo'd as the 10th :(
Yeah unfortunately that change got missed in there - we've alerted everyone to make sure we catch it in any future posts and such!

Looks like this one lost some detail during editing. To manage expectations, specifically the examines are:
The change to the right click wilderness sword now means the action bar default is the herb patch, not edgeville.
This is such an annoying change for Abyss RCing, pretty much the only use for a action bar wildy sword :(
Hey folks just to shed some light onto this change, it was updated to be consistent.
When it was being used from the backpack it would do one thing and when held it would do another, this change made it so both are the same.
With that said we recognize that players had gotten used to the previous version and we are monitoring the change to see what the best way to handle this is.
... But why franks chest? Pretty sure no one thought it was a good idea first time round, its just injecting items for the sake of it imo.
From what we heard from players they enjoyed the idea of getting some extra rewards that they could work toward at their own pace (weekly cap on keys etc) but the rewards were a bit of a let down at the end so we are giving it another go with changed rewards and some milestone rewards so that its not all hinging on getting exactly what you want at the end.
homepage says map is 3k from store, but in game its 1k
typo in newspost or error in game??
panic spend currency
Typo in the newspost, number came from an older design doc, in game number is correct.
Not to be rude, but I don't think people are confused about the reasoning behind the change. That was clearly explained in the post (and thank you for the clarity). The complaints are because this makes the item extremely cumbersome for its primary use (Abyss RC).
What exactly is there to monitor here? The Wilderness sword is used almost exclusively to teleport to Edgeville while crafting runes through the Abyss. It's gone from a simple hotkey press to an unwieldy right click. Please revert the change ASAP so we can continue crafting runes smoothly. Match the menu order in the backpack to the old wielded menu order (or don't; no one cares).
To speak plainly, folks are looking into it. If it is viable to change the teleport order that's great but I cannot make a claim that we will be doing it without going through verification first.
So the options :
1. Wait to confirm if we are changing it before making any comment which leads to players believing we aren't listening
2. Annouce a change we hadn't confirmed.
3. Respond acknowledging the issue and reassure players that its being handled.
I went with the third option.
