| 48s | the varrock museum has been trying |
| 50s | unsuccessfully to reach an unassuming |
| 52s | island off the northeast coast of the |
| 53s | mainland no sensible sailor will go near |
| 56s | the island so the museum's |
| 57s | archaeologists have been building their |
| 59s | own boat with limited success very |
| 62s | recently the dragonkin scientist kara |
| 64s | pag deceived a Council of the world's |
| 66s | nations and stole a powerful magical |
| 68s | artifact taking it to that very same |
| 71s | island suddenly what was an academic |
| 73s | curiosity is now a vital strategic |
| 75s | interest and the museum's expedition is |
| 78s | being taken very seriously indeed with |
| 80s | all the new money they were granted by |
| 81s | King rold of mr. Lyne the museum were |
| 83s | able to hire the only task force capable |
| 85s | of carrying out such an important work |
| 87s | in such a short space of time |
| 88s | adventurers and so a host of thousands |
| 91s | of heroes descended on the dig site |
| 92s | chopping wood assembling the boat and |
| 95s | warding it until finally it stood ready |
| 97s | to launch the next step is to travel to |
| 100s | the island itself the museum are on a |
| 102s | voyage of academic discovery but the |
| 104s | world guardian who accompanies them has |
| 105s | a more serious objective to follow kara |
| 108s | back to the island and put a halt to his |
| 110s | plan to destroy all life on Gillen or as |
| 112s | well as a host of workers and scientists |
| 114s | several unique individuals are |
| 116s | accompanying the expedition professor of |
| 119s | unnatural history and famous |
| 121s | bespectacled dragon mr. Mordo is a |
| 123s | failed experiment hailing from parts |
| 124s | unknown as something of an expert on the |
| 127s | dragon kin that created him at least as |
| 129s | much as anyone in the human kingdoms can |
| 130s | be said to be he was an obvious choice |
| 132s | to lead the museum's expedition to the |
| 134s | island Laniakea is a mysterious warrior |
| 137s | from the east raised in a violent world |
| 140s | where she had to struggle just to |
| 141s | survive she left and traveled west |
| 143s | eventually reaching the human kingdoms |
| 145s | there she studied under the Slayer |
| 147s | masters for many years but has recently |
| 148s | felt the need to find her own path in |
| 150s | combat she prefers to fight with poisons |
| 153s | and lets the vile liquids do the work |
| 155s | for her she joined the expedition out of |
| 157s | a sense of adventure the mainland is |
| 159s | full and she has always sought someone |
| 161s | new to carve out a territory and |
| 162s | identity uniquely her own her Winson is |
| 166s | not part of the expedition AfriNIC |
| 168s | hunter he knew the tales of a legendary |
| 170s | island and was determined to reach it to |
| 172s | prove himself he arrived soon after Kara |
| 174s | back just in time to witness what |
| 176s | happened next |
| 177s | the experience has left him damaged but |
| 180s | there's the closest thing the island has |
| 181s | to a native perhaps he can be of some |
| 183s | use to the expedition and what of |
| 185s | keropok himself thanks to the world |
| 187s | Guardian the enigmatic dragon kins |
| 189s | intentions have been revealed but no one |
| 191s | knows what it is he actually plans to do |
| 193s | why this island he referred to a place |
| 196s | called earthen the Dragon King word for |
| 198s | first place and he put a great deal of |
| 199s | effort into stealing an elder artifact |
| 201s | known as the needle which has the |
| 203s | limited ability to control time he plans |
| 205s | to stop the Elder Gods seemingly at any |
| 207s | cost but how what awaits on the island |
| 211s | for the expedition and the world |
| 212s | guardian of course no one can know the |
| 215s | storm wall surrounding the island blocks |
| 217s | any attempt to tell what is happening |
| 218s | the island is so far north north of |
| 221s | demon high that it can be nothing but a |
| 223s | blasted icy wasteland the expedition |
| 226s | will have to pack plenty of warm |
| 227s | blankets surely nothing can live in such |
| 229s | a place any native life must be long |
| 232s | dead reduced to fossils no threat to |
| 237s | civilization on the island it must have |
| 239s | been long since ground into dust by the |
| 241s | passage of time you'll have to board the |
| 244s | storm breaker and find out for |
| 246s | yourselves of course the island won't |
| 248s | give up all its secrets easily two |
| 249s | adventurers fresh-off-the-boat explore |
| 251s | get yourself well established and you'll |
| 254s | be ready when the story continues |
| 255s | throughout the year |
