[2021] Couldn‘t stop smiling as a new player while playing „Violet is Blue“ quests

I‘ve just started playing RS3 a few days ago and slowly but surely starting to understand all the mechanics and stuff, and while adventuring around I‘ve found this girl at a portal. What I didnt expect was to experience this wholesome and adorable quest and Characters. Seriously, I couldnt stop smiling at all the funny things in Violets conversation. Her goofy yeti parents. Her using a bucket as a helmet and choosing the ugliest christmas tree and calling it the best one. I dont know, this quest chain genuinely made me happy. It was such a surreal world, far away from any generic MMORPG medieval setting. Whoever wrote these quests and characters, good f‘ing job. Even though it wasnt anything mechanicaly revolutionary or super deep, it really felt like an adventure you would read in a kids bedtime story. I’ve only played „Violet is blue“ and „Violet is blue too“, idk if theres any more stories of her, but I’ll definitely want to find out. I‘m only 20 hours into the game, but I can already tell theres many more of these types of quests and stories waiting for me. No idea how runescapes storytelling and questing went over my head all these years.
