Honest question. When I first started about two months ago, everyone I encountered was so helpful and nice. Ever since the Necro release it’s been cursing people out for spots. Or bullying other people for not using Necro(happened to me a few times). I actually left an old clan because someone was bullying me for enjoy arch instead of just doing Necro. Is it the influx of people who just come back for a new skill? I know the community is better than this. Spread more kindness folks!

Two months in and already an Archaeologist?! Welcome to RuneScape! You're more than welcome to enjoy Archaeology now that Necromancy is released.

Zamorak knows I've got so much more to uncover with Archaeology, and Divination, Farming, Invention, Crafting, Prayer, Magic, Fishing, Cooking... Just about every skill! Everyone's journey is unique to them, and nobody should be tearing you down for how you go about exploring Gielinor.

When I started playing RuneScape again last year (before I donned the crown) I was asking the most obvious noob questions, and got great answers. Those players are still out there, in the thousands, at any given moment. I would not let a vocal minority of players tarnish your experience.

As a reminder, you can report players who aren't adhering to the rules of RuneScape by the "Report a Bug" button when you press Esc.

In the meantime, keep digging, keep exploring and keep doing your own thing. Necromancy will be there when you're ready.
