Is it??? When you see that we have over 47,000 followers for @jagexsupport, maybe that's not so absurd. Also, when we created that account, we realised that players were wanting to use twitter to ask questions, or get help - so we actively decided to have a presence on there. Whilst we cannot resolve account or payment queries on twitter (it could be anyone tweeting, and we always need to verify account ownership before talking about account details), we can certainly direct anyone needing assistance to the right area of the Support Centre for further help.

We decided to go where players were asking for help - a bit like on Reddit - there's an active player presence on here, so we regularly check it, and reach out to anyone needing help.

Our advice will always be to go to the Support Centre to check articles, or search for your issue (and the Support Centre is optimised for mobile devices), but we totally get that not everyone wants to do that in the first instance.

I know the Support Centre has its critics, so does the account recovery system, so no need to resurrect those thoughts here (unless you want to, of course :P), but I also know that of those who contact Player Support, 87% are satisfied, equally, we know the reasons why 13% are dissatisfied, and we're continually working to improve - Offence and Ban Appeals came out of that focus.

Thanks for checking out the infographic and taking an interest!

PS - whilst we're on the subject, props to the Community Helpers active on twitter who, off their own back, help players find the best place to get their issues resolved.
